A lot of this is just stuff I've gathered and heard but...
I think around 16 stations. Most are "fast attack" stations, being 1 engine and 1 quint. AMR provides EMS services.
Everyone is a minimum EMT-Intermediate. I believe now they are hiring people and putting them through a full fire academy(4 month).
I've heard good things about them. Very good pay. 24/48... etc
I think Arlington is the largest city in the nation NOT to have a bomb squad.
Now, before the football stadium, they were hurting for cash and were cutting benefits, including those for new hire firefighters. That might have been fixed. The stadium is boosting profits for it and all the town's nearby. They do mutual aid some with Fort Worth but lot with Mansfield and Grand Prarie.
I've heard nothing but good about Arlington. Town is still growing so they are hiring a good number every year.

You can bet they hire a lot of overtime in January of 2014. :)
