Hi There
I'm a Firefighter (with 11 years service) based in Northern Ireland. I would like to move to Canada and was wondering if anyone could give me any information.
Would my service from the UK be of any help to me? or would I have to start again from scratch i.e a recruit?
Now I know Canada is a big place and my first choice would be New Brunswick (as my wife lived there for a few years in the 90's) but would be prepared to move anywhere on the Eastern side.
Can anyone give me any info please I have all the usual qualifications (B.A, Driver E.F.A.D) I also have F.P.O.S (First person on scene intermediate) Trauma qualifications.
Any help would be good help including contact details for various fire departments.
