Just wanted to get a thread going where all of us GA firefighters can see what our brothers around the state are dealing with.
My department had a busy sunday afternoon. With temps in the 40's and a slow rain pretty much all day we responded to one false alarm, one MVA (one minor injury, taken to local hosp.), and a house fire with heavy smoke showing upon first-due Eng 3's arrival. We were later toned out to the same house as a undetected pile of blown-in (recycled newspaper) insulation under some shingles in the attic space rekindled. When Eng 3 arrived on scene the second time, they were faced with heavy fire showing from the roof of the single story house.
Aight your turn
