Can anyone tell me about the Air Guard Base FD at Bradley. I know they are part of the S-15 Protectives Services. Does anyone know what their staffing is and apparatus situation?

Thanks
Matt

I don't know a lot about Bradley but I believe you are confusing two different depts. Bradley field fire is a dept. run by state employees (S-15). The Air Gaurd fire dept is run by the military (Enlisted Air National Gaurd memebers).

Both Bradly Fire and the ANG are in the same S-15 Protective Services Union. I know they run 2 shifts and close at 2300 or 2400hrs. The Chief was trying to get that changed to 24 hour coverage. Staffing I am not sure what their shift minimum/max is. As for apparatus, they are hurting. We went there to do some training with them over the summer and the only thing in service was their small rescue truck. They also have a crash truck and Larger Tanker. They were hoping to get something new but wern't holding their breath.
