To all:
The Annual Blackhawk Firefighters Conference is once again approaching and I wanted to post the classes and also let everyone know that this year we have (2) nationally renowned speakers in Brian Vickers-(firehouse.com) to speak on grant writing and Dave Dodson-(developer of "Art of Reading Smoke" program).
Conference Fees are as follows:
BFFA Members: $25 (2 Days)
Non-BFFA Members: $75 (2 Days)
***Note: Have your department pay $50 (I believe) and your department will belong to the Association, which currently has over 110 members***

1) Basic Trauma Life Support
2) Down on the Farm Rescue Class
Saturday Only:
1) Grant Writing-Brian Vickers
2) Pump up the Volume Pump Ops
3) Basic Firefighting Ops
4) Officer Development
5) EMS Building Blocks and Survival Spanish
6) Honor Guard Refresher
7) Keep it on the Road-VFIS (Leads to ability to take Class B-Non CDL Test)
Sunday Only:
1) "Art of Reading Smoke"-Dave Dodson
Class Limit of 200
