Any thoughts on HR900, the "GREAT" plan??

so, our brothers in Florida are having to deal with something kind of similar. Does anyone out there have any thoughts on this?

personally, i think that it's not going to be good for us as firefighters (or EMS or police).

where are local FD's going to get their funding? as one of the local services that don't generate their own revenue, who's going to feel budget crunches and hiring freezes first? not the PD or parks and recreation. it'll be us.
