Forget golf or springtime in the flat lands it is now Hunting time in the flat lands. Anyone had any luck with deer yet, here are a few picks of one I shot on Oct 14th. We ruff scored him at 192 22in inside spread. 14 points ,field dressed about 240

Nice! My hubby would be jealous - he got a doe last week but hasn't seen any shooter bucks. He's going to beer...I mean - Deer Camp...this weekend. They're leaving town at 1:00 today so hopefully they'll actually get some hunting done and he'll see or shoot something big this weekend.

Nice deer!! My son got a 12 pointer a couple of weeks ago during youth weekend. He goes with his grandpa and uncle so I'm not quite sure what the rack scored or what it weighed. All I know is I'm paying for a second mount. He got a big 8 pointer 2 years ago that's hanging in his room and now we'll have to make room for a second.

Makes more sense to be in the nice warm, dry fire station in your spare time than sitting in a cold, damp deer stand, doesn't it Chad?

Really nice deer. I haven't seen any bucks that size all year in my neck of the woods. I haven't been out much, been letting it cold, and wouldn't you know it when it does get cold i'm stuck studying non-stop. Jack, I have to disagree with you, i'd rather be in that cold damp deer stand.

I have a picture of me standing next to a statue of Paul Bunyon.
At least my motorcycle is bigger than your's.
Griz going to do the mount for you?
He did a good job on Doog's.
I got one earlier this year coming back from the country club.
Cost my insurance company $3800.
AND I didn't keep the deer.
Oh well.
