Today a brother FF from my fire company died in a tragic accident in Bridgeville @ 11:30 today. Jimmy Russell was working on his home in bridgeville on a Ford Tractor when the tractor suddenly flipped backward on top of him instantly killing him.

FF Jimmy "Piggy" Russell died at his home during a tragic accident.Jimmy Russell was working on his home in bridgeville on a Ford Tractor when the tractor suddenly flipped backward on top of him instantly killing him. BVFC responded to the scene to no avail. He was declared DOA by Medic shortly after their arrival.

Piggy was dedicated Firefighter of the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company Inc., and a retired Delaware State Police Officer.

FF/Retired DSP James "Jimmy" Russell was laid to rest today @ 15:30 hrs.

You will be missed by all. Rest Easy Brother.
