How far have you gotten in the LA City Fire Testing?

eligh2... be patient, after i took my test, i got my letter for the oral interview, then a few weeks later, got another call for my backgrounds interview. if all goes well for you, just hope you get a good background investigator. this is where it can be short or long. once in backgrounds, it's out of the hands of the fire dept, it's in the hands of the city personnel and this can take a long, long time or it can be real short. my buddy's in the academy right now. we applied at the same time, took the test the same day, had our oral interview a week apart, but our background was months apart. my buddy's was about 2 weeks and mine was about 4 months. i'm still waiting on my conditional offer. be patient and keep training.
