After 8 rounds the 2007 AFG is awarding grants at slower pace than 2006. There have been over 500 less awards in 2007 vs. 2006.

2007: Round 8....1537 awards....192/round
2006: Round 8....2005 awards....250/round

At this pace there will be 25 rounds (based on 4800 awards) for 2007 bringing the award announcements into Januray 2008.

Ok, so I'm a little bored at the moment.;)

Last year we didn't get round 1 until 10/6/06, so I'd have to say the DHS guys have done an outstanding job this year. We are month's and thousands of awards ahead of last year at this time. I actually took delivery yesterday on the 5" LDH from our 2007 Ops award, so my glass that I'm celebrating from is actually empty and in need of another Miller Lite.
