hello everyone i have posted questions on here for a few different things and i really thank you all for the help. we have been talking about doing more grant writing, we had won two in the past but have not tried in a few years. we would like to try and get a grant for a mini pumper/rescue, the one problem is that our twp is buying a new kme tower for our fire co. will this hurt us? im new to grant writing and have been looking at all the topics and they have given me many ideas. any help for a new grant writer would be awsome......thanks!

Your overall average apparatus age plays into scoring, but specialized pieces of apparatus can be done outside that average in some cases.

The question would become which is the higher priority for your area: Was the Tower Ladder a total necessity vs. the rescue/mini-pumper? Lots of things factor into the scoring and if you read around here, you'll find most of your answers because someone, somewhere has "been there, done that" with most of the grant stuff.
