Great story. Let's hope the rest of the fire service catches up and starts using these more. My opinion is that every truck should be equipped with a camera. It should come off right along with the radio and the haligan (or the tool of your choice) tool. If you pack up to go in, someone should have the camera.

The money we've saved the taxpayers and insurance companies due to damage during overhaul operations has more than paid for ours (only have one, cost us $7,000 was all). If we ever save a life because of it, it'll look like a cheap investment.

i agree with you,if this tool can help to save a life,it is a cheap investment but unfortunately here,in France,in the firehouses,there are not many TICs.

Excellent news. I agree, every department should have at least one.
For smaller departments, talk to your local Lions Club, Kiwanis, Jaycees, ZOR's or whatever who could help with funds.

yeah,every department should have at least one TIC,which is not the case here.
