Another 2007 AFG question

I wrote our 2007 AFG for a vehicle, and on August 4th I received an email to update our 1199A for (Reference Award Number: EMW-2007-FV-0XXXX) I sent it back and they received it, then on August 14th I received some questions.... and they received my response..
My questions is ....beings this is my first AFG.. Am I going to receive this AFG? it is now Sept, 2nd and still no emails of confirmation??? does it take this long?
I apologize...I tried to search through all the forum to find my answer, but do dang many responses to read.

The 1199A and 10 q's are excellent signs of an upcoming award. It takes on average about 2-3 weeks to be notified of the award (sometimes longer) after returning the q's. Sit tight, it looks good.

Hang in there, it takes some time! Unless something major happens you are getting a new vehicle. Congrats!

Do they update the 1199A's on any particular day? Or is it random? I find meyself looking at it like 100 times a day, everyday!

Right now the 1199A's have been going out on random days. Whether the AFG goes back to a set day as in the past (Tuesdays), time will tell.

Probably not today being a fed holiday, but they have done them on weekends before. During this time of the year most of the GMS/FPS staff work 7-12 hour days to keep things going.

Congrats David. It sounds like you should be getting your specs ready to send out for bids. We have received three awards, all of which followed the same progression that you gave. Be sure to play the game by DHS' rules.

Well...We finally made it. Today we got the news from our senator's office that we will be awarded our truck this week. Grant total $227,950, AFG portion $216,533...Thank you God!! and also to all that have given input and support.
