Chief Grants and grant guru consultant Kurt Bradley are being hosted by the Jackson Fire Department in Hazard Kentucky on October 18th and 19th 2007. Hazard is located approximately 2 hours south east of Lexington and two hours northeast of Knoxville. And a chance to network with one of the more successful grant writers for a fire department right now. Where are you at now limeforever? Should be pretty close to the $1 million mark for your department in last 3 years right?:rolleyes:

I think we may have made it over the mark for my department, just hoping to keep the stream flowing gotta take care of those around me you never know when your gonna need the help.

That's the spirit. I often have grant writers tell me " I feel guilty applying as we really don't need anything" and I always ask them why they didn't offer to help their mutual aid partner that year instead. Surpising how many never think of doing just that.;)
