Napoleon Fire and Rescue were asked to respond to Findlay, Ohio During the recent flooding. We responded with our hovercraft and dive team. We were first staged at the high school and later at Station One.

I would like to thank the Findlay firefighters, Station One and the Citizens of Findlay, we were treated with overwelming kindness and generosity eventhough the city was in crisis and some of the firefighters were on the tail end of a 48 and were not sure if there home was underwater, they managed to do what had to be done and show us what the brotherhood is all about.

I haven't had the chance to get down there. My boss wouldn't let me take off last weekend. I was going to go down with a volunteer service group... I almost just took a write up and called off, but my mom and dad explained to me that losing my only income wasn't worth it... I feel differently... I'm a kind of person who drops everything for someone. I really felt like crap last weekend... oh well. I'm glad to hear that they were overwelled with help and that FEMA stepped in right away.
