Assistant Chief for Training Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA. Full time
VT Griffin Services employee (contract) position. Annual salary $50K plus
benefits. Hours are M – F, 40-hour work week. Training/HAZMAT/Safety Officer for personnel and programs at two fire stations/8 personnel providing fire and emergency response to Navy installation/waterfront activities. Requires: DOD or NPQB Certifications as Fire Officer III, Fire Instructor III, Fire Inspector II, and Hazmat Incident Command. Hazmat Technician TTT preferred. Must possess valid state driver’s license, pass pre-employment fire fighter physical, ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Strong DOD training & safety management experience required, along with sound communication, organization, and computer skills. Position to be filled as soon as possible.
