Closeout Problems on 2005 Grant

I have been fighting with the closeout on my 2005 grant.

Today, I got with the Help Desk, Closeout Specialists, and what seemed to be some tech guys.

Looks like there has been a "system issue" in the program that won't let it accept my completed grant closeout.
They said it is "no fault" of mine.

Problem is, I'm not sure if this issue is goint to effect, or has affected, my 2007 Grant request.
That would suck if it's their fault and we get passed over.

So,
Is there anyone who I should try to contact to advise of the reason why the closeout wasn't done on time???

A previous closeout shouldn't affect your initial computer scoring. Each year is scored separately and closeout performance is something that is checked in the technical review. (Following peer)

I would have to agree with sly here, the closeout issue may have been a problem with tech review before award for this year but, not for computer scoring though. You more than likely have other problems you don't realize in the project if the computer zapped you.

This WILL become a problem in 2008 for sure. Rumor has it that they will not even accept a new applciation form you if you are seriously delinguent in closeouts or semi-annual performance reports. ;)
