I also downloaded the spreadsheet and it only had round 1.

Did they take it back down??

I just check and can vouch for him that it is gone. Maybe they forgot to add my department!!! LOL

I just opened the spreadsheet and it says on the top updated 8/03/2007, but it only lists awards from 7/27/2007.

Who says big brother doesn't look at the forums.:eek: They took it back. :mad: Probably means they won't release it until Saturday to make up for the early release.:D

I got a local asst chief that i showed the release to him this afternoon. He had gotten a grant for radio gear.
He then called all of the guys to show them and it was gone. He called me thinking I had fooled him some how.

I just found my rescue squad's award on Schumer's website. It looks like my FD's LDH will have to wait until next week. The trip to Salem NY to meet the "BRAIN" BC79er scored me two in the early rounds.

Schumer: Seventeen Emergency Response Programs Across New York State Will Receive Over $1 Million As Part Of U.S. Department Of Homeland Security's Fire Grant Program

Schumer Says Federal Grant Will Help Fire Department Pay For Improvements During Difficult Fiscal Times

Schumer Has Pushed For Additional Funding For Assistance To Fire Departments And First Responders

U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer today announced that two fire departments in St. Lawrence County will receive federal grants totaling $155,045 from the 2007 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Gouverneur Volunteer Rescue Squad will receive a $19,195 grant to be used for operations and safety. The Nicholville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., will receive a $135,850 Vehicle Acquisition grant to purchase a new tanker truck. The grants are part of the second round of DHS FY07 AFG program awards to several fire departments throughout the country.

I searched by State and round 2 shows up in NY... Don't know what to tell you....
