Does anyone have any info on the hiring process for the city of Jacksonville or the surrounding areas?

Jacksonville-- Fill out an app for the city. They give you an interview, tests, physical, lie detector, then your placed on a "Band" based on priority of hire. Band 1, 2, 3 etc.... As of now, with the Double homestead exemption Killing all of Florida's dept's JAcksonville's new budget doesnt allow for the filling of vacant positions. So there is an Indefinite hiring freeze there.
Any surrounding areas Nassau County, St. Johns County, Clay County, you will take a Tri County Physical Abilities test and fill out an app for county of choice. Pester the Bejesus out of HR for an interview and wait for a letter.
