Hey guys, I am going to be starting with a career fire department soon and was wondering what kind of advice you can give me. I have been in paid on call for about 7 years, and did a little part time. I am used to the 24 hour shift work, but aside from going to the fire house and trying to keep busy with this that or the other, and the fact that it wont be my fire house until i am done with my probation, what else is there?
