Whos who Among Firefighters........

Anybody else been contacted by this group?
Supposedly you are nominated by an anonymous person, and go through this selection process. They have it for all these different catagories, several relatives told me they were featured "back in the day", and it is considered an honor to be selected. I bought what they said, figured that they are relatives, why would they lie.
Anyone else nominated/selected?
Or even heard of it? Or did I get snookered?

Never heard of this bunch but a lot of these "who's who among" things are really nothing more than a marketing campaign. They'll tell you that you've been selected and then try to sell you a book, merchandise, etc.

I don't know about FF, but I know there's a Who's Who among high school students and I was picked. And I know they do that for some other groups too. If you grab that letter they sent and smell it real good, you'll detect the distinct smell of BS.

I sometimes check the photo taken in 1962 and can just recognise the guy looking back at me from the mirror in the bathroom!:confused:

I got that too everyone basically gets that...my old neighbor got that and he was failing and got left back twice i believe and he still got that...

The Yanks won't shut up about how they didn't need them 50 years ago, and still don't need them today.


And us Canadians just roll them up and call them tooques. :D ;)
