Just curious about your reasons for applying. I work with a guy from KY who keeps saying I should. I was at Ft. Campbell for 3 years in the early 90s but never been to Louisville.

Just trying to get as much test taking experiance as i can because i am still in school for firefighting and just started taking tests. But if i get a job on one of those tests it would be a pleasent suprise.

written test is on september first but they havent announced where it will be held.

You sure about that test date? The reason I question is because I'll be flying down probably so I need exact dates.

I have'nt takin the test for couple years. but the test will be at the training center thats next to the tower. you pass that first and after lunch they give your score and then you get in line to run the tower. You should be running every day to get ready. because you run the tower 4 time's. they say if you want an interview to get better than 8 min. 9 min is ok 10 or more they will not look at you. if you are from out of town you will do all this in one day. seperate from the others that are closer to town. good luck to all.
