I'm in Abilene...

kd5,

Myself and another EMT will be traveling there closer to the end of this month to do our Intermediate skills testing at TechPro Services. I have never been to Abilene, is it hard to get around in your town?

I will come in on I20 (maybe) I am traveling from the Wichita Falls area. Then get on 322/Jake Roberts Frwy and go to Tannehill street.

Any good places to stay that are close to that area? Or should I get a place to stay on 20?

TIA for any help!!!!

It's pretty easy to get around. The two easiest places for you to stay would be on I-20 at the HWY 351 Exit (One exit past the Loop 322 exit) or keep going around Loop 322 (Past Tannehill) to the Winters FWY (US 83/84) and stay by the Mall of Abilene. Either place has pretty good hotels and both are pretty easy to get to. There are more restraunts and stuff like that down by the mall. The "loop" around Abilene is made up of I-20 on the North, Winters FWY (US 83/84) on the West, and Loop 322 on the East. If any of this doesn't makle sense, let me know and I will try to clarify as best I can.
