you need FF, FF2, HAZMAT OPS. all certs need to be DOD or proboard. and you either need to be CFR or EMT.

I could be incorrect, but IFSAC certifications are also accepted.

at a min you'll need ifsac, proboard or dod FF1, FF2, Hazmat awareness, hazmat ops, and emt and/or cfr. your credentials really only count if they are national certs. but, it also depends on where you want to work. those 5 certs are the holy grail for starters, everything else is gravy.

the EMT and CRF dont need to be national though, they can be state (thank god).

All the cert's the others have mentioned are standard, however ARFF and any Driver cert's (pumper, ARFF, tanker, etc...) are icing on the cake.
