Send me your resume (medicdvg@gmail.com). I know our clinic is very short and will be looking to put on people very soon. I will shoot your resume up the chain for the theater medical management.

What level of Medic - if you are a Combat Medic, or Combat Lifesaver, and EMT-B, I am not sure if KBR will hire you. They have as a minimum requirement at NREMT-P. The extra certifications are great, as is the military experience. However as remote medics we operate at the level of a Physicians Assistant basically.
This isn't to say that your skills are not adequate, it has to do with licensing and the prescription of medications. The EMT-B and Combat Medics courses are not detailed enough to satisfy the medical director into letting you be under his license.
Get your Paramedic, and then you will be set.

I will second what DVG said...no medic cert, no job. Its just the way it is regardless of your past military experiences.
I will also add that KBR requires you to have a minimum of 2 years experience as a medic, so I think you have a slight waiting period ahead of you.
Good Luck!

I`m writing first time here, acctualy I just found this page.
I have few (or maybe one) question for you:
It seems I`ve got job for KBR,position is irelevant...
I am from eastern Europa, finishing med-school,this month I hope or at first half of september,in worst case.
I was wondering, does anybody know, can I take some KBR exame for an medic in Iraq?
What kind of test that is and can I see some example of it on the net?
Thank you all.

There isn’t a test or exam. It is all based on your resume and certifications. If you are from somewhere other than the US or UK I think the Medical director has to OK your certs.

What is KBR paying medics where you are at?
Thanks

I think so but honestly apply on line and sit and wait. there isnt any real set way it's done. Some people have been called the same day, others months down the road. Apply and see what happens I guess

Going from memory that is true, you have to work in x job for so long before you can attempt to change. What are you going over as?
