Homes burn in St. George subdivision
ST. GEORGE — Firefighters are investigating a blaze that set three homes under construction in an upscale suburb.
The fire broke out just after midnight Tuesday in an Ivory Homes subdivision in Bloomington Hills.
"The middle one caught fire and it caught the others on fire," said St. George Police Sgt. Craig Harding.
The homes were framed and had plywood sheeting on them, allowing the fire to quickly spread. The homes were destroyed, St. George Fire Capt. Jason Whipple said.
The cause is under investigation.
