I recently purchased a boston style shield through a member of my department. The shield itself is made extremely well, however, it's made completely wrong.

The shield has a very ridged supporting layer of metal in it, and is too big to actually fit on my helmet. Heating and molding the shield didn't help it to fit, and after trying and trying didn't end up working out.

The questions i have are:

1) anyone with experience making these shields, where do you purchase the materials to actually make one yourself? (i would be interested in constructing it on my own)

2) has anyone had any experience dealing with handtubjunction's products, and if so how were they?

Thank you so much for any input

Are you talking about a helmet front?

Handtub Junction is a top notch outfit! I have dealt with them in the past, and I will certainly be buying from them again.

Handtubs does great work. I've got a Boston front piece from Handtubs and love it.
