I'm from out of state possibly looking to move to GA and would like some info./recommendations on GA Fire Depts.. What depts have highest pay,best retirements and work schedules. Also do depts. have defined benefit pensions(thru the city or state) or 401K's. thanks

Most depts. do. most have city, state firefighters pensions and 401k's

as far as the highest paid, most of the north georgia depts seem to pay higher, only to compensate for the higher cost of living though. it varys
