I'm fresh out of the fire academy and I'm looking for a contract. I've been looking around and from what I see everyone wants experience. I don't have any at this time. Does anyone know anyone that does not require previous experience? Please let me know! Thanks in advance,

sorry there aren't any local volunteer departments around here. It's all paid, I was just looking at maybe going the the contract route. I have apps out with several departments at this time.

all of the contract depts i have seen require at least several years of experience.

all contracts require experience sorry. Try applying in a few years but until then get on a dept get all your certs and then apply if you don't like a civilian dept
