Volunteer around KC

Does anyone know of any departments that are looking for volunteers around Kansas City? I've talked/applied to Pleasant Valley, Claycomo, and South Platte. All are not currently hiring, or waiting until later to test....

I don't know if these places are hiring or not, but you could check out Pleasant Hill FD (Pleasant Hill), Prairie Township Fire Protection District (Lee's Summit), and Lotawana Fire (Blue Springs).
