Hey, I'm starting to pull my hair out. I've been a basic for 2 years and am on the verge of starting at a medic program in suburban Chicago. I will be receiving approximately 32 hours of credit from a local (prestigious) community college for my efforts. I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere in the Chicagoland area (or perhaps wider midwest) where I could transfer my credits towards...well, any Bachelor's degree. Note: I'm not taking any Fire Science courses nor am I currently on with a municipality. The Kicker: I'd prefer to transfer to a decent school, as in something a step up from a regional school (i.e. decent state university, etc.).

*This is a repost, I didn't get any response in the general forum, so I figured I'd give it a shot here.

I found this information online, it may be helpful...

George Washington University offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) in Emergency Health Services, with a concentration in EMS Management entirely online. The program is designed specifically for practicing EMS professionals seeking to enhance their educational credentials. The university is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Good Luck,
Quint

If you want to have a respectable degree I would stay away from online courses. Why not just goto UIC? They accept most college credits as long as the school is accredited. (sorry I am a UIC grad and love it there!)
