Newbie just saying hello

Hello everyone,
My names Aaron, im 24 yrs old.
Ive always been interested in firefighting, but i have a question(that i keep gettin 2 different answers to).
Is there a height requirement for a city fire department? Im only 5'4...
Some people i ask say whatever aslong as u can do the job but other habe told me itd be hard for me
Any advice? thanks in advance for any answers

become a medic then get hired. that way no one will expect much from you on the fire ground anyway. nah i'm kidding height doesn't matter man it's all about heart. if you have the heart to be a firefighter nothing will stop you.

Just make sure for whatever height you are, you can physically do the job. I've seen 4'10" firefighters, and I've seen almost 7' tall firefighters. As long as you are physically fit, and not dumb as a brick, you could probably pull it off if it's what you want.
