Im going next month. I am going to spy on your thread.

For me my plan is as follows.

- Wake up - play blackjack and texas holdem

- Once 2pm hits, start throwing some beers in there, but of course continue the blackjack and holdem.

- I also plan to win a lot of money... we'll see.

First time, and staying at Treasure Island.
So far I plan to see the Grand Canyon by helicopter, gamble, eat and drink ( not necessarily in that order).
2:00??????????? A old gray haired Chief could thirst to death in the desert by then!!!!!! A doctor once suggested I forced liquids, been following his advice ever since.

I love the MGM GRAND sophisticated feel for gambling. They also have some tigers inside that they show at certain times.

Mandalay Bay is also an awesome place. That's where I like to stay. They have some nice resteraunts and there pool has a wave machine. Also have a topless pool area.

I haven't been there since the new Hooters place opened by the Palm. I would check that out if I were you.

Check out New York, New York. Following the WTC disaster, firefighters would drop off their t-shirts at the hotel site, they had literally thousands hanging from the fences. Last time I was in Vegas they had taken most of them down but there was still a display honouring the firefighters at the hotel with a cross section o t-shirts on display and pictures of the t-shirts. I haven't been for a few years, maybe someone who has been there more recently can tell you if there is still a display.

New York New York has some great bars in it as well. Nine Fine Irishmen pub was my favorite stop last time I was in Vegas.

Go see Hoover Dam. It's only 35 miles S/E of vegas on 215 Take the tour. Spit off the dam!!:D
