If you spend a little time searching around, you will have everything that you need. I think that I probably spent 20+ hours searching the site. I can tell you most anything that you would want to know. You just have to put in the time.
Good Luck!

Yup. Their website has a wealth of information....lots to be learned there, at least in the short term since your interview is Friday.

Your might also check out the Local 43 site and the city of Portland, but truly Jwarne2001 and iamacheetah are right you can get really in depth to on the PFB site. Good luck!

Is your Chief's interview for the trainee list or the FF/EMT list? Either way, good luck. Most importantly, relax and don't be nervous. This is your time to sell yourself to the panel. I found that the Chief's interview was a lot more relaxed than the first panel interview. There is a lot of info on the main portland fire website. just dig around.

Just a heads-up. They are actually called by two names: the "official" name is the Portland Fire Bureau. The name they prefer the media call them by is Portland Fire and Rescue.
