Career Change

I am changeing careers from a cilivan paid firefighter/emt-to an Air Force Firefighter. Does anyone have any useful information about the differences between the two or information about AF Firefighters. I can't find any websites.

Be wary, most guys I know of that went from a normal local to a federal local were in contracted positions, meaning no contract renewed no job.

Go to the Federal/Military section on these forums, there's a ton of info on military firefighting positions.

i am going active duty military.... i don't know how much that makes a difference
