Career Change

This is my first post and I did some searching before and found a few forums but figured I would post anyway. I am a firefighter/emt-i in North Carolina. I have enlisted in the United States Air Force and leave for Goodfellow AFB for firefighting tech school. If anyone can give me some advice of the differences between civi and military firefighting school, and what its like on a day to day basis as a AF firefighter. I have been a professional firefighter for 3 years and just needed a change in my life. I figured the military was the way to go....
