Fire Chief Recovering From Accident
A Johnson County fire chief is recovering after an accident Wednesday afternoon.
County officials say Oil Springs Fire Chief Wade Cantrell was responding to an accident on Route 40 at Barrents Creek when he lost control of the fire engine and flipped. Officials tell us Cantrell wasn't hut badly, but was taken to an area hospital.
One woman in the accident Cantrell was responding to was flown out to a nearby hospital as well.

I am chief wade cantrell's daughter he is now at home he has 6 stiches and a staple in his head and he has a pulled muscle in his back. But thanks to everybody that is concerned about him. As far as the fire engine it is totaled but my dad is a very very lucky man and i thank god for looking over .
