It was just confirmed at the press briefing by the State Fire Marshall that one Firefighter and one EMS worker was killed during the explosion. They are still investigating in scene.

WOAY-TV is reporting the same. Stating the explosion occured just as the fire rig was arriving. A sad day....

Sad news indeed. :( I caught a bit of this on the tv as I was getting ready to head to the stn for a night shift. I knew there had been an explosion, but it was an early report I guess, because there was no indication of fatalities. :(
