First off, I'll take this chance to say thanks for everything. My wife baked cookies for station 125 in Calabasas CA when you protected our apartment from a huge fire last year. Hopefully the cookies were good.

I work for a TV show on HGTV about "manly rooms" in the house. We did a story on Pat Aust, retired firechief from Redondo Beach. He's got an amazing home bar and bonus room covered with more fire memorabillia than you can imagine. Several of our stories happen to be about guys either in law enforcement or EMS and fire. So I thought maybe there's a common thread.

I'm trying to send word out to try and find more stories. We're also talking about placing ads for the shows in local newsletters and magazines for firefighters and Police. I'm hoping to find here, someone involved with media relations, or someone involved with their local newsletter that might be interested in talking. And anyone who might want to know more about the show.

Thanks everyone for your time!

Steve

TVguy15, you might want to contact the people at the Firefigter's Association of the State of New York (FASNY) at www.FASNY.com about an article they had in their January monthly magazine.
One of their members and a lot of his friends took an old pumper and converted it in to a bar for his house. The before and after pictures look really good.

I had an idea for a reality TV show from that movie where the guy played by Nick Cage gives half of a lotto ticket to a waitress.

Simple concept and it called the tipper. Give a waitress a massive tip and tape the reaction.
