Does anyone know if NDW is ever going to hire firefighters? I've had an application on with the Navy Human Resources for almost two years and have never heard anything about it. Just wondering if anyone has any info.

I just saw on the watchdesk that NDW is closing the Cheasapeake Beach station on Christmas Eve. The people there will be transferred to other stations within NDW.

I would guess that there will be no hiring until all of that movement is finished.

I don't work for NDW by the way, so this isn't official or even "inside" information.
