Just curious why you are wanting to know. Planning on moving down this way? I work for EMS in Randolph County and could get someone to answer your questions, if I had some further info. to give them.

Can you give any info on Asheboro FD?
How often do they hire, how can I find out if they are going to hire, pay scale, qualifications needed, hiring process?

Don't know a great deal about pay scale, etc. I do know they are looking to hire 3-5 firefighters right now, that will start in March or April. Pay is reasonable compared to the rest of the county. Must be EMT certified. Don't know any other certs. May want to call the Fire Station at 336- 625-4244 during business hours.

Medic I noticed that randolph EMS is looking for basics can you give any info on the EMS services in that county? If you could give an email address I would appreciate it.

Randolph Co EMS runs 6 trucks full-time (24 on/48 off) We also have a prime-time truck that is currently working 8a-8p (but rumor has it that those times may be changing to 10a-10p). The prime- time truck works a schedule more like law enforcement (m, t on; w, th off; f, sat, sun on; m, t, off; w, th on; f, sat, sun off--then repeat)
