Assessment Center? [Archive] - Firehouse Forums

What is an assessment center? I notice it's taking the place of a written test for a department I am applying for. After the PT there is an assessment center testing. If you've been through this or know, let me know

The last assessment center that I went through was for an EMT job. And for that it was a written multiple choice test that was graded on the spot and after that it was a scenario which was pass/fail and then an interview with the supervisor I believe.

Hope that helps I would imagine its the same way.

Also guys, on a job description if it states that EMT certified people are highly desirable, and I do not have it yet, do I still have a shot?
