Computer denied DJs went out already. Nothing since that I've heard of.

They review apps in Peer totaling twice the available funding, so half of the Peer Reviewed apps get awards, the others get denied. Those denials haven't come yet. So you're at a 1:3 shot at this point considering half the awards are either announced or pending. So a 1/4 of the Peer Reviewed apps left will be awarded, the other 1/2 are the denials. Give or take a few % points.

You're not looking bad, but not in the circle of roses yet either.

To ballpark it, out of the 19,000 apps, they're predicting 5,000 awards. So odds are 10,000 went to Peer, so 9,000 got the Dear John on 11/14. There were almost 1800 award announced as of last week, and maybe 800 or so are sitting on 1199As & questions but haven't been announced. That leaves about 2400 apps that will be awarded still not notified, as well as 5,000 apps that will be denied not notified also.

Just an ejumakated guess based on past patterns.

for SAFER
on behalf of my department - many thanks to those who have aided with advice and input - especially the Three Amigos; and to all the FF's out there ....

Help me to understand! Getting one SAFER Grant is supposed to get you as close as possible to meeting NFPA 1710. How is it then possible to get a second SAFER Grant to do the same thing in the next year?:confused:

bummer, there are several that have repeated R&R SAFER awards. 1710 is only for career or combo that choose to meet that instead of 1720. So yes, there's "no way" to repeat hiring awards, but R&R is a free for all.
