Is anyone here familiar with SBFD? I just have a few general questions about the department if anyone would mind helping me out.

sbfire447,
I'm just curious to learn more about SBFD. If you don't mind, could you answer a few questions for me?
What is staffing for apparatus?
How is staffing assigned for medic units? Does it rotate or are FF's permanently assigned? (i.e. Do rookies typically run on the medic units until they get seniority to bid elsewhere?)
What is the average number of calls for the department during a typical year? Is there much fire?
What are the busiest engine companies and the number of runs per year?
Do you like working for SBFD?
Thanks for your time!
