Greetings.
Welcome to the boards.
My name is Chris Rupert. I have been involved in Fire/EMS since I began as a junior member in 1993. I am an EMT-Basic as well as a Rescue Captain for the Nittany Valley Volunteer Fire Department. We are a rural department with 1400 residents and 90% agricultural area. We cover 18 miles of Interstate 80. We currently run 1 engine, 1 tanker, 1 medium-duty rescue, and a brush truck. We average 180 combined Fire/EMS calls a year.
