Hi everybody,
new to the forums here and looking forward to learning more about the EMS field. I'm currently an EMT student and halfway through my class (just passed my midterm last week). I feel that I am doing fairly well when it comes to the textbook, but I know I need to continuously work on my skills. Any suggestions when it comes to this aspect will be greatly appreciated. One of my instructors keeps reminding us to learn the material and experience will come with practice and time, and as he said while we are getting hours our proctors usually remember what it was like to be the "newbie" I just have to remember that.
I have my first round of clinicals this weekend in the ER and am nervous as this will be my first time actually working with patients. Again any advice here, I'm all ears.
Looking forward to learning what you have to offer, meeting and talking to you,
Jovi
