What have we been up to?
We have been working six days a week, but I have managed to get on the Hog and swing the clubs a time or two.
We just re-did the laundry room. She says the dining room is next.
Of course, when we bought this house, it was a house that we "wouldn't have to do anything to".
Drainage problem - $10,000
Kitchen re-model - $2600
Storage shed - $1000

You are scaring me CR! My wife and I (married in August) have recently started looking at houses. Nothing serious yet, just looking. She has fallen in love with a couple that that "need nothing done to them". Glad to hear what I've got to look forward to.

She asked what I was looking for in a house and I said a workshop or shed FAR away from the house...attached garage is still too close!

Chief Reason, I know the feeling. Got engaged in May, bought a house in Aug. A house that "Needs nothing!"

I've been around here...once in a while. Been busy taking the paint off the new fire station floor to get ready for the open house and planing that as well. We're about ready. Should get everything done Saturday.
And, Chad, if DJ goes anywhere it won't be JC. It'll be back in the Ashley district! YOU CAN"T HAVE HIM!!
Just got an E-mail. Congressman Shimkus will make an appearance, although he'll be late. I look at it as a great chance to say Thanks and to ask for some help in the future. Photo op, too, with some of our "goodies" from the AFG.

Not that I'm saying Dave's place wasn't great or anything, but he moved out of there into our buddy's barn and he says it is a HUGE housing improvement. :)
I knew that was the reaction Dad would. I think he is still holding out for me to come back. If you find me a place in Jefferson county in your district, I'll be back in a heartbeat dad!!!

Yeah, we are still alive here. I'm in the middle of possibly changing jobs, getting ready for Jay Bob sis, bro in law, new baby and MOTHER to come for Thanksgiving. (We're all staying in our cozy little duplex (which it's no bigger than my foot.))
