And if an American TV network tried it,they'd be lambasted by the ACLU,Arab League,the Democratic Party and maybe PETA for not being concerned about the mental stability of the men involved.
After all,they are the ones saying that blindfolding a prisoner to prevent escape attempts,making them stand for hours and depriving them of sleep is torture.
