Emt-I

I am a Marine in Kansas City and currently in an EMT-B. I should be done with the course in Dec and due to a possible deployment I am trying to get an EMT-I so I can at least be able to do some IVs and work with the corpsmen. Does anybody know any Fire Dept, college, or any training course for EMT-Is in the general area of KC?

Aren't military corpsmen (certified as NREMT-B's) able to initiate IVs in combat?

Have you looked into Penn Valley? I know they offer EMT-P, I'm not sure about emt-i.
