AFG's for Kansas

Any departments in Kansas heard anything yet on their AFG applications?

i dont think anyone around the county has yet. i thought i read something about beginning of Oct. the would start announcing stuff.

It appears that the 1199A updates and 10Q's started going out yesterday afternoon. It just appears that most of the ones receiving any info are East of the Mississippi. Just interested to see if anyone here has heard anything.

I thought the second week in October was when they were coming out.

The 1199A updates started appearing on 9-6-06 and since then the 10Q's have been going out as well. The first round of award notifications as set to begin on the 6th of Oct. Maybe as early as Sept. 29th.

We got our 10 questions last Friday.

In our county, Cambridge Fire (Cowley County District 8) got a new truck in 2 the 2nd round, Arkansas City got a new SCBA Compressor in Round 3.

A little $$ is trickling our way.

hi im captain in new york and we run blue lights here im thinking of moving to liberal kansas area for work just wondered what they let the vols run in kansas any lights and sirens and would anyone know if kansas would reconize ny training certificates for ff1 ff2 etc. thank william..drop me a line.. westhurley663@aol.com
